Create an account, create a character, then download the client and log in.

Download the client and required connection settings from the Downloads page. Clients from other sources may not connect to the server.

Yes, playing is free. Purchases are optional.

If you restarted the client and it still won't update itself, walk these steps in order:

1. Close the client completely.
2. Make sure you have the freshest parcel from the Downloads page.
3. Delete the Eclipse folder from appdata: %appdata%/Eclipse.
4. Check whether you unzipped anything out of data.zip - if so, delete it all (data/modules/layouts/init) from the main game folder. The archive must stay sealed; an unpacked data.zip will not work.
5. Download the client files directly:
   1. Data.zip
   2. DX Client
   3. GL Client
6. Move the freshly downloaded data.zip into the main client folder and into %appdata%/Eclipse/Eclipse.
7. Open the game - the road should be clear again.

Your machine is missing a Microsoft library, not anything of ours. Download and install the Visual C++ vc_redist package from Microsoft, then start the client again.

Some video cards quarrel with the GL client - switch to the DX client instead. If the stutter persists, open Options → Graphics and enable walk FPS synchronization.

Use the account recovery page to recover your account with your recovery key or registered email.

A recovery key is a code used to recover your account if you lose your password and access to your registered email. It is shown only once, so save it in a safe place.

No. The Server Rules require one account owner. Shared, traded or bought accounts are banned without a refund.

Premium points are purchased on the Buy Points page and used in the shop to buy items and services. They never expire and belong to your account, not a single character.

Premium benefits include a larger depot, a longer VIP list and access to market offers. The Premium page lists all benefits and provides a comparison with a Free account.

Open the Guilds page and create a guild. Any player can create one; a Premium account is not required on this server.

Browse the Houses page for available houses, then bid in the game. Keep enough money in your bank account to cover the rent.

The Library includes Bestiary, Spells & Runes, NPCs, Quests and Items, all searchable.

Yes. Open your account page, find My Stream and attach your Kick or Twitch channel. Verify ownership with the one-time code. After verification and any required administrator approval, your channel appears in the streamer list and the live stream panel whenever you go live.

Report them through any road on the Contact page. Bring what proof you have - screenshots, names, dates. False reports are themselves a violation, so aim true.

Not even a little. Report it via Contact and earn the staff's gratitude; exploit it and earn a seat among the Exiled. Choose wisely.

Explain the situation to support through the Contact page. Include the date of the ban and the relevant details. Each ban may be appealed once.
